Much better recording quality! It sounds much more confident too! You have some of the sound issues in the beginning where it sounds like there is some line noise, but that goes away quickly. Odd, it isn't there on a repeated listen.
It sounds so much better now that the vast majority of the words are understandable. The whole thing is very musical. The ending ceasura (the pause) that continues into the dying out parts are wonderful. It really sounds like you got into this one a lot more than the first take. It makes it a lot more meaningful sounding when listening. I am really looking forward to more songs by you.
Let's see, what can you do better now? Perhaps adding some depth into the piano and voice like some light reverb to make it sound like you are in a smallish cathedral or a hall with good acoustics (hehehe even a bathroom, they have great acoustics), or something.
There are also some minor tuning problems that you can clean up. I'm not sure how comfortable you are doing punches (ie, inputting the notes you want specifically in problem places) but that isn't real important. If the note is a dartboard, you want to hit the exact center of the bullseye everytime. If you hit it slightly offcenter but still in the bullseye it isn't in perfect tune. That is about where you are in a few of the spots but the rest of it is great. If you do another harmony vocal track over the verses or chorus you will mask those too.
One last note on production, your piano playing is gorgeous but it is kind of in the background more. It could be where you want it, but I would like to hear the volume level a bit closer to the vocals volume. Great job and a 1000% improvement from the last one!

Vocals tend to get too loud and leave the piano on the background, especially when ya go high. Otherwise it sounds better than the older one, but I missed the piano on this version. I understood the lyrics this time.

I agree with what everyone else has said... more piano in the mix would be nice, because your playing is lovely and the chords are so gorgeous. I really like your vocals too. You have a very sweet quality to your voice, very pure sounding. There are a few moments here and there where you sound a bit unsure or nervous, but that's no big problem, it's the sort of the thing that will go away the more recording you do.
Very nice, very emotive. I like

I am almost positive the problem is in the encoding to mp3 format. Send me a note on details of how you recorded this and what programs you used, etc. and I will try to help.

it is very lonely and sad, i love it. very beautiful. what i would suggest is that you get either a drum machine or a drum machine software that you can use, this will help flesh out your song and keep it in good time. then what i would do is record just the piano parts with the drum machine, then come back and record your vocals so that you can concentrate on doing one thing at a time. anygood four or 8 track recorder will do, you only need a 4 though, i can tell you how to bounce your tracks and you can add second vocals to fall inbehind some of these if you want, like say on the chorus parts, it's sound really good. You have a very beautiful voice and the piano sounds and chords are also very good. the song is a well written song. and with a little bit of work it'd make an excellant demo for sending out to labels. You have such great potential.

Yeah i am looking to buy a drum machine or at least find some software for the moment. I think my brother has actually got one so if i can grab that i'll try and work it and maybe get a bit more range. This is still a work in progress and thanks for all the help from everyone!

"Im getting a bit tired of chasing you
You’ve got the charm you’ve got the wit
You’ve got the status, got the looks
I know you take it all for granted"
I totally understand that line. story of my life. keep up the good work.

There is grace in the sound of the piano which you play. However, your voice is shining beautifully more than it. Although this melody gave me the sad impression, I love it. This is a wonderful song.

It's a pity that the production is a bit off (muffled, lo-resolution or whatever) - coz the tune and vocal performance is as godd as any. Good job! Agree that it could be improved by some drums coming in on 2nd verse + reverb. But the material is definately there! Good job!

the melodies are so beautiful and memorable. And your delivery is so emotional, both vocals and piano. You may be experiencing some technical problems recording which you are sorting out, but this performance rises well above it.

The songs probably a bit too sad for me to relate to, but understandbly the song is coming from a teenager's point of view. The song is really well constructed and genuinly emotionally performed. A fine artist in development here.

I recommend the NTK rode mic. Save up money and get one... Seriously, it will be of good use to you for a long time.
Great melody in the inbetween bits, where you go "You......." nice!

What can I tell you that isn't here a billion times already??? I love this!
Nobody else can speak for me so when I say the singing is sweet and the playing is great, it's my own solitary opinion. I definately need to spend more time round these parts.
